Demo Terms of Use

1 Scope & Acceptance

These Demo Terms of Use ("Demo Terms") govern access to and use of the Drillber platform ("Service") during any free trial or proof-of-concept ("POC") period provided by Drillber Ltd. ("Drillber").

By checking the acceptance box during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Demo Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent.

2 Evaluation Use Only

The demo environment is provided exclusively for internal evaluation and proof-of-concept purposes. You may not use the demo environment for:

• Production operations or live incident response;
• Processing, storing, or transmitting real personal data, classified information, or sensitive security data;
• Any revenue-generating activity or commercial service delivery;
• Providing access to third parties outside your immediate evaluation team without Drillber's written consent.

Drillber reserves the right to immediately suspend accounts that are used outside these permitted purposes.

3 Intellectual Property & No Copying

All content provided through the Service — including built-in scenario templates, event chains, MITRE ATT&CK mappings, AI-generated content, report formats, and platform interfaces — is the intellectual property of Drillber Ltd. or its licensors.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, screenshot, or extract scenario content, event descriptions, playbook templates, or AI outputs for use on any other platform, product, tool, or medium;
• Republish, resell, sublicense, or redistribute any content generated by or within the Service;
• Use AI-generated exercise content to train, fine-tune, or benchmark any competing AI model or product;
• Reverse engineer any part of the Service, including its AI facilitation logic or scenario generation.

Content you create yourself (e.g., custom scenario descriptions you write) remains yours. You grant Drillber a limited licence to host and display it for the purpose of providing the Service during the trial period.

4 Data Retention & Deletion

Drillber is not obligated to retain any data entered during the demo or trial period beyond 30 days after the trial expires or the account becomes inactive — whichever occurs first.

Specifically:

• All account data (scenarios, exercises, events, user records, reports, AI messages) may be permanently deleted after this 30-day window with no prior notice;
• Drillber provides no backup or recovery obligation for demo data;
• You are solely responsible for exporting or recording any data you wish to retain before the expiry window closes;
• If you convert to a paid subscription before expiry, your data will be retained under the terms of that paid plan.

To export your data before deletion, use the export functions available within the Service, or contact support@drillber.io.

5 Support — Best Effort Basis

Support during the demo and trial period is provided on a best-effort basis only. This means:

• There is no guaranteed response time or resolution time;
• No service level agreement (SLA) applies to trial accounts;
• Support requests are handled in the order received, with paid customers taking priority;
• Drillber may choose not to resolve issues that are specific to the demo environment and would not affect paid customers.

6 Service Availability

No uptime guarantee or availability SLA applies to the demo environment. The Service may be:

• Interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or infrastructure changes without prior notice;
• Temporarily unavailable due to third-party infrastructure issues (Google Cloud, Stripe, Anthropic);
• Subject to rate limiting, feature restrictions, or reduced performance compared to paid tiers;
• Modified, restricted, or taken offline at Drillber's discretion at any time.

Drillber is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unavailability of the demo environment.

7 Account Suspension & Termination

Drillber may suspend or terminate your demo account at any time, with or without notice, if:

• Your trial period expires and you have not converted to a paid plan;
• Your account has been inactive for 14 or more consecutive days;
• You breach any provision of these Demo Terms or the general Terms & Conditions;
• Drillber determines, in its sole discretion, that your use is inappropriate or inconsistent with the evaluation purpose;
• Drillber discontinues the free trial programme.

Upon termination, all access rights cease immediately. Data deletion follows the timeline in Section 4.

8 No Sensitive Data

The demo environment is not certified for storage or processing of:

• Personally identifiable information (PII) relating to real individuals beyond basic account registration details;
• Classified, confidential, or export-controlled information;
• Protected health information (PHI) or financial data regulated by PCI DSS;
• Actual incident response data from live security events.

Use only fictitious or anonymised data in scenarios and exercises during the trial period. Drillber bears no liability for any sensitive data you choose to enter into the demo environment.

9 AI Facilitator Credits

Demo accounts receive a limited allocation of AI Facilitator credits for evaluation purposes. These credits:

• Do not roll over — unused credits expire at the end of the trial period;
• May be reduced or exhausted at any time if Drillber determines excessive use;
• Are subject to content moderation — AI outputs that are harmful, misleading, or off-topic may be blocked.

AI-generated content (scenario injects, evaluations, hotwash summaries) is provided for evaluation only and does not constitute professional security advice.

10 No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The demo environment is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Drillber's total liability to you in connection with the demo or trial period shall not exceed USD $0 — i.e., no fee was paid for the trial, and no compensation is owed for any issues arising from it.

In no event will Drillber be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the demo environment.

11 Feedback

Drillber welcomes feedback during the trial. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit become the property of Drillber and may be used without restriction, attribution, or compensation to improve the Service.

12 Governing Law

These Demo Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from the demo or trial period shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.

13 Changes to These Terms

Drillber may update these Demo Terms at any time by posting a revised version at drillber.io/demo-terms. Continued use of the demo environment after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
